Who What Why how. The parts of the story you're going to care about.
Karma Kitchen is transforming industrial spaces into beautiful commercial kitchens, co-working and storage. We build, equip and manage the spaces, with everything from kitchen porters, community managers to top of the range equipment. The goal is to provide workspace that encompasses the full needs of a food and drink business. The team behind Karma Kitchen are the same team behind Karma Cans, the lunch delivery company. Gini and Eccie founded Karma Cans in 2014, making fresh healthy salads for offices around London. They've built two kitchens for Karma Cans and they understand how important it is to get operations right early on, to leave you the space and money to grow and transform your business. That's the goal of Karma Kitchens, to let businesses grow and scale.
Island Poke — Island Poke have been using our workspace for a year now. They run 3 retail units across London and using an offsite production kitchen has allowed them to take over units that have varied zoning and licensing, cutting operating and rent costs. It also improves consistency. They cook rice and salsa from our kitchen.
26 Grains — These lovely girls, run an awesome cafe in Neal's Yard, they were limited on space and equipment and so used our facility to produce granola, compote and cakes, which they could retail in store. They also used us for large scale prep ahead of festivals, so they're production wouldn't interfere with the cafe's operations.
Pip & Nut— These guys make brilliant nut butters, when they needed somewhere to shoot a short film in partnership with Adidas, they chose our kitchen, they booked an afternoon in and were able to tell their own story, using our space.
The Karma Community
Karma Cans is the heart and soul of Karma Kitchen, starting a business, running and growing a business, is a real struggle. Karma Cans was an organically grown, bootstrapped company and that knowledge and experience of building an internal culture and an external community, flows into our kitchens. We're building the community and we want food and drinks businesses of all sizes to join. At Karma Cans we're as sustainable as possible and this is something we're pushing into our new project, composting, cycling, cutting down on plastic and food miles, we're building for your future and ours.
